The clients of the Cottage Kitchen Project wanted to maintain the character and style of their period property whilst creating a kitchen that was lighter and brighter and had a more contemporary feel.  

Our design solution included light quartz worktops and reflective splashback tiles to help maximise the natural light coming from the beautiful windows.  We also suggested a new layout for the cabinetry to create a practical workflow that made the most of the space. 

The cabinetry was painted in ‘Snow’ and punctuated with black bronze hardware to provide a more modern finish. The cottages beams were taken back to their original, lighter colour to compliment the more natural tones of the new kitchen design.  The new Everhot range cooker in Graphite is the focal point of the kitchen and the terracotta floor tiles help to maintain the cottages character, whilst providing warmth and complimenting the exposed brick work.
